Product Sales Executive – Genomics & Molecular Biology
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable **Product Sales Executive** with a strong background in life sciences to join our team.
This role focuses on driving sales, supporting customers, and contributing to marketing strategy for our **Genomics and Molecular Biology** product portfolio—including instrumentation, consumables, and reagents.
You will play a key role in growing our presence in the Genomics space by identifying new opportunities, supporting key accounts, and collaborating with internal teams.
A scientific background combined with commercial acumen is essential for success in this position.
Sales & Business Development
- Increase sales and manage costs in line with company strategy.
- Explore new markets and develop strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Support clients across diverse sectors: academic, government, pharma/biotech/CROs, and forensics.
- Provide product recommendations and quotations tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director and tender/service teams on pricing, promotions, and offers.
Product & Marketing Support
- Champion key Genomics solutions including:
- Nucleic acid extraction (manual and automated)
• Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)
- qPCR and RT-PCR technologies
- Support the entire product lifecycle—from product launch, pricing strategy, and market positioning to customer training and support.
- Co-develop marketing strategies including promotions, campaigns, exhibitions, and new product launches.
- Provide technical content for marketing materials, including digital platforms.
Account & Technical Support
- Deliver scientific and technical expertise to sales and customer service teams.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Provide training, troubleshooting, and technical presentations to customers and internal teams.
- Conduct regular sales analysis and generate actionable insights to guide strategy.
Essential Skills and Experience
- PhD or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology or related Life Science field.
- Laboratory experience in molecular techniques such as nucleic acid extraction, amplification, or sequencing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Self-starter with a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to understand and explain complex scientific concepts clearly.
- Flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude.
