Role overview

Responsibilities

• Create test cases for business requirements across web applications, web APIs, and batch applications of varying complexity.
• Execute manual and automated test cases.
• Document defects and test results in the test case management system, including comprehensive test descriptions.
• Collaborate with software engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor defect-tracking systems and manage bug tracking.
• Apply quality assurance methodologies and SDLC practices.
• Ask probing questions, consider potential impacts of solutions, and propose creative improvements to client satisfaction.
• Comply with company policies and standards and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Four years of experience in manual or automated testing.
• Knowledge of Gherkin test format.
• Exposure to user interface development, billing/payroll modules, or import/export data files is helpful.

Compensation

• The pay range is USD 65,000–99,000 per year, with compensation based on applicant qualifications and market alignment.
• The role is eligible for a quarterly bonus incentive plan.
