The work
- Create test cases for business requirements across web applications, web APIs, and batch applications of varying complexity.
- Execute manual and automated test cases and document defects thoroughly.
- Enter test cases and document results in a test case management system.
- Monitor defect tracking systems and manage bug tracking.
- Collaborate with software engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Apply quality assurance methodologies and the SDLC; propose solutions to improve client experience.
- Comply with company policies and standards and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least one year of manual or automated testing experience.
- Knowledge of the Gherkin test format.
- Previous exposure to user interface development, billing or payroll modules, or import/export data files is helpful.
- Motivated, innovative, self-directed approach and interest in current trends.
Preferred education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
Pay and incentive
- Annual pay range is $45,000–$75,000, based on factors including education, experience, skills, and market alignment.
- Eligible to participate in the quarterly bonus incentive plan.
