Product Manager (Security)

Job Overview

What You Will Work On

• The broad goal is to make it simple and safe for millions of users to access and trust their accounts.
• Making it easier for users to sign in and get back into their account when they are locked out.
• Making it harder for the wrong person to get into an account, without making life harder for the right one.
• Helping the business reach users quickly and reliably across channels at the moments that matter.
• You will own a slice of this, in partnership with engineering, information security, and other product managers.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 2 years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping.
• A genuine interest in how systems can be attacked and protected, and a feel for the trade-off between security and user experience.
• Comfortable enough technically to discuss APIs and authentication flows with engineers and hold your own.
• Comfortable with data and analytics, including spreadsheets and the basics of SQL, to understand how a product is performing.
• Able to own a product from problem definition through launch and iteration, with support.
