About Believ

The company works with local authorities and businesses to deliver charging networks at scale.

The Tech team is cross-functional and follows agile and lean practices.

About the Role

The Digital Product Manager will own internal operational tools supporting the deployment and management of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

The role reports to the Head of Product and works with operations, engineering, and commercial stakeholders.

The position focuses on internal tooling, operational platforms, data-driven prioritisation, and product direction.

Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Own and evolve the multi-quarter roadmap for internal operational tools.
  • Translate operational pain points and business goals into a prioritised backlog.
  • Define success metrics and use data to guide prioritisation and measure outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce operational overhead.

Stakeholder Management and Discovery

  • Build relationships with operations, field teams, commercial, and finance stakeholders.
  • Conduct interviews, observation, and data analysis to identify unmet needs and validate hypotheses.
  • Facilitate roadmap reviews, communicate trade-offs, and manage expectations.
  • Represent internal users within the Tech team throughout product development.

Delivery and Execution

  • Own problem framing, solution exploration, requirements definition, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with engineering leads and the Head of Product to ensure clear and well-scoped handoffs.
  • Monitor delivery progress, remove blockers, and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies and champion lean, iterative product practices.

Scaling and Improvement

  • Identify operational workflow bottlenecks that limit charge point deployment.
  • Use user feedback and performance data to improve existing tools.
  • Monitor trends in operational tooling, field service management, and internal platforms.
  • Support product documentation, user guides, and training materials where relevant.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Experience owning internal tools or operational platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort using data to define metrics and guide prioritisation.
  • Solid experience in agile delivery environments with a lean mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.

Benefits and Working Hours

  • The role includes a competitive salary and bonus scheme.
  • Benefits include annual leave, wellbeing and insurance support, pension contributions, learning access, and other employee schemes.
  • Core office hours are 10am to 4pm from Monday to Friday.

Location and Working Pattern

  • The business is based in an office in Southwark.
  • The position is full time and hybrid, with three days per week in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
