About the role

myZoi is a fintech startup focused on financial inclusion for unbanked and underbanked customers.

The individual-contributor role owns adoption and growth of a business-customer platform, including UAE WPS and Non-WPS payroll solutions, and leads compliance-first MVPs.

Product delivery

  • Drive platform activation and ongoing usage; own onboarding, verification, account, payment, settlement, reporting, and servicing journeys.
  • Define corporate payroll journeys covering uploads, maker-checker approvals, funding, payment tracking, and error or rejection handling.
  • Own payroll processing from file validation and funding through disbursement, cut-offs, returned payments, reprocessing, and reporting.
  • Lead compliance-first MVPs, write API-first requirements, and work with Engineering on delivery.
  • Translate regulatory and risk requirements into product logic and operating processes; support reconciliation and downstream workflows with Finance and Operations.
  • Support client discovery, solutioning, demos, and onboarding; coordinate partners, vendors, exchange houses, and corporate integrations.
  • Create commercialization materials, train client-facing and operations teams, communicate priorities and acceptance criteria, and promote agile and human-centered design.

Experience and qualifications

  • 6–8 years of product-management experience in fintech, PSP, or B2B technology solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in a startup or scale-up and a record of end-to-end delivery of regulated or enterprise-grade B2B products.
  • Strong API fluency and ability to define or review sequence diagrams; demonstrated B2B adoption, automation, or platform growth.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Compliance.
  • Familiarity with payment processing, payroll, onboarding, billing, or KYB/KYC systems.
  • Strong understanding of WPS, settlement, compliance workflows, and differences between WPS and Non-WPS payroll.
  • Experience with payroll, salary disbursement, or bulk payments and integrations with banks, exchange houses, or payment networks.

Risk and governance

  • Stay current on the regulatory framework and UAE WPS and payroll requirements; advise sales and operations teams on regulatory, reputational, and ethical matters.
  • Identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance issues with senior stakeholders; adhere to policies, controls, and risk appetite.
  • Own product risks across markets, support effective governance, renew product guidelines and country addendums, and identify and quantify risks.
  • Define pricing guidelines and work with control functions to assess, mitigate, control, and monitor risk.
