IIT Delhi - Abu Dhabi invites faculty applications in Energy, Sustainability and Climate across multiple research areas.
The positions span teaching, student mentoring, interdisciplinary research, and institution-building.
Faculty responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
- Pursue impactful interdisciplinary research and contribute to institution-building.
- Help shape new programs and develop research infrastructure.
- Develop collaborations across India, the UAE, the GCC, and global research networks.
Qualifications and experience
- A Ph.D. in relevant interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary research areas is required.
- Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, or a master's degree in Physics, Energy Science, or Engineering.
- Experience teaching relevant undergraduate courses is desirable.
Research areas
- Areas include AI for Energy Applications; Batteries and Materials; Electrical Energy Systems and Grid Operations; Energy Economics and Markets; Oil and Gas; Renewable Energy Systems; and Thermal Energy Systems and Thermo-Hydraulics.
Institutional support
