- For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or mechanical engineering
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience; more importantly, NI platform experience is required. This can be NI software only, or preferably a combination of software and hardware. Internships and co-ops count.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship will not be provided
- Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- 3–5 years of experience at NI, an NI partner, or in the broader test & measurement ecosystem. Strongly preferred: hands-on NI product experience, including LabVIEW, data acquisition, PXI or other academic products
- Business and technical acumen grounded in intellectual honesty — earning the trust of R&D leadership takes deep expertise, sound judgment, transparency, and a commitment to doing what’s right for the product and the business
- Influence without authority — drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Adaptability and self-motivation — learn quickly, thrive in ambiguity, and take initiative
