Assists with research, development, implementation, and monitoring of agency, specialty lender, and affordable housing mortgage products.
Communicates product updates and changes to sales and internal support staff.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact with private investors, FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, USDA, and affordable housing agencies for new product and program rollouts.
- Coordinate creation and updates to Loan Origination System templates and documents, and internal standard operating procedures.
- Maintain existing investor relationships and build new ones through extensive guideline reviews and direct communication.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- At least 3 years of mortgage banking industry experience.
- Knowledge of the mortgage lending process, including experience in Operations, Processing, Closing, or Post-Closing.
- Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, USDA, VA, Non-Conforming, and affordable housing structured program guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
