DRUIDS is a growing sports brand seeking a product designer to develop its next generation of products.
The designer will take ideas from early concepts through finished products.
Design and development
- Design original sportswear across categories including golf, padel, fitness, and fishing.
- Develop concepts, colourways, graphics, materials, and product details that fit the brand.
- Prepare technical packs, specifications, and artwork for approved concepts.
- Work with product development, sourcing, and factory teams on samples, fit, materials, and revisions.
Research and product quality
- Research sports, athletes, customers, and market trends to identify product opportunities.
- Review samples and help ensure products meet quality, performance, and design standards.
- Keep design files, product specifications, and range information organised and current.
Essential experience
- Sportswear design experience is essential.
- A genuine sports background through playing, competing, coaching, or working in the sports industry is essential.
- A portfolio should show original sportswear designs and product development work.
Skills and knowledge
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills are expected.
- Candidates should understand fabrics, materials, garment construction, fit, and performance.
- Experience creating technical packs and working with manufacturers is expected.
- An organised, practical approach and ability to manage several projects at once are sought.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude are sought.
Additional experience
- Experience with 3D or CAD tools is an advantage.
- Footwear design experience is an advantage but is not essential.
Workplace
- The role is based in person in Dubai.
