About the role

Design digital consumer travel experiences for customers booking and managing flights, stays, activities, and other travel products.

Work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and designers to turn problems and opportunities into meaningful experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs, behaviors, and pain points and define opportunities and problem statements.
  • Lead or support discovery activities, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
  • Deliver solutions across web and mobile platforms with cross-functional teams.
  • Consider business needs, technical constraints, data, and platform requirements.
  • Create intuitive experiences that deliver customer and business value.
  • Develop concepts and prototypes, assess when more ideation or testing is needed, and change direction when appropriate.
  • Run experiments to validate assumptions and optimize solutions.

Experience and qualifications

  • Have 3–5 years of product design experience in a consumer-focused organization and a record of shipped mobile and web experiences.
  • Understand product strategy and business requirements, with a focus on customer needs and pain points.
  • Plan and conduct research and integrate insights into the design process.
  • Communicate design work and complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bring strong visual design skills and experience with design, prototyping, and whiteboarding tools such as Figma, Framer, and Miro.
  • Have experience working with and contributing to a design system; know Google Material Guidelines and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Use data and analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Communicate strongly in written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Provide an online portfolio or PDF with up to three representative projects; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Have experience through the full product design cycle, from UX research, wireframes, and prototypes to final design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Design and prototyping tools may include Figma, Framer, or Proto.io.
  • Conduct user interviews, set up surveys and usability tests, and interpret results.
