Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to understand and create complex plans or diagrams (e.g., blueprints)
Self-starter/Acts on own initiative making decisions after a thorough evaluation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Light travel (both domestically and internationally) should be expected.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field required.5+ years of tool and/or equipment design.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software to develop product designs.
- Prior experience in piping system design and/or field experience with piping systems is desirable.
- Hydraulics experience is desirable.
- Electromechanical experience is desirable.
- Project management experience
- Hybrid Schedule with part time in office attendance.
- Eye/hand coordination for more than 50% of the time
- Visual strain for more than 50% of the time
- Listening, sitting, bending, standing, stooping, walking, observing, grasping, pushing, pulling, and keyboarding
