Role purpose

Product architecture and solution design

• Define product requirements and architecture based on product vision, business needs, market demands, and technology trends.
• Create product-wide architecture for scalable, reliable systems that support different deployment options.
• Develop proof-of-concept work to demonstrate feasibility and realize viable product ideas.
• Propose and implement core technology strategy, and assess the impact of product changes and new requirements.
• Solution client RFPs and provide product design assurance aligned with business needs.
• Analyze technology environments and client requirements to create solution design frameworks and architectures.

Delivery, governance, and roadmap

• Provide technical leadership for solution design, development, and implementation using modern technology.
• Define current-state features and target-state solutions, including improvements, options, tradeoffs, and investment roadmaps.
• Document and communicate architecture recommendations and reusable patterns; validate solutions for technology, cost, and customer differentiation.
• Identify architectural problems, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
• Support client deployment, resolve complex issues, and work with delivery teams on validation and performance testing plans.
• Maintain product roadmaps and provide timely input for upgrades based on market needs.
• Establish relevant technical, business-process, and support metrics; identify risks and prepare mitigation plans.
• Ensure architecture quality and provide technical mitigation support to delivery teams.

Client engagement and capability building

• Build relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects, and stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales presentations, coordinate with client teams, and help ensure requirements are met.
• Develop proof-of-concept work, case studies, and demos for growth areas based on market and customer research.
• Complete necessary training and certifications.
