Opportunity
The Product Architect, AI will help define Auth0 and Okta’s direction in agentic identity, secure AI application development, and standards-based access for agents.

The role combines long-term strategy, platform design, customer engagement, standards and open-source work, and occasional prototyping or production-quality coding.
What you’ll do
- Define strategy for building, operating, and securing AI agents and agentic applications.
- Shape agentic identity capabilities for authentication, delegated authority, resource access, trust, and auditable boundaries.
- Define secure access to APIs, tools, data services, and MCP servers for authorized agents.
- Translate strategic opportunities into product bets, architectural principles, requirements, and durable platform capabilities with Product and Engineering.
- Help design and implement identity capabilities for agent-to-resource and agent-to-agent interactions.
- Assess emerging technologies and standards, including MCP, agent-to-agent protocols, agentic commerce, authorization frameworks, and workload identity.
- Track AI models, agent frameworks, orchestration, evaluation, observability, and developer practices; assess which changes are durable.
- Identify industry shifts and communicate their implications internally and externally.
- Engage strategic customers to understand architectures, identify unmet needs, validate product direction, and support secure implementation.
- Partner with Security, Legal, Privacy, and Trust teams on secure, responsible, compliant, usable capabilities.
- Represent Auth0 and Okta through technical content, speaking, customer conversations, standards work, and open source.
- Build prototypes, reference implementations, and demonstrations using technologies such as Node.js, React, and Python.
Role expectations
- Bring real experience building AI-powered and agentic systems.
- Be able to work across strategy and implementation, including vision, platform primitives, customer engagement, and prototypes or production-quality code.
- Bring curiosity and a disciplined approach to tracking fast-moving AI technologies, standards, and developer practices.
- Be able to assess industry developments and clearly communicate their implications.
- Engage strategic customers and collaborate across product, engineering, security, legal, privacy, trust, and other teams.
