Product and Application Manager - (Tissue Diagnostics - Histopahtology)

Role overview

Product strategy and market development

• Lead local product strategy and execution aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Drive product adoption, market penetration, launches, and expansion projects.
• Assess customer demand, portfolio gaps, competition, and opportunities; share market insights with regional and global teams.

Application leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the Application Consultant team.
• Ensure quality demonstrations, evaluations, validation support, and customer training across the histopathology workflow.
• Advise on complex opportunities and scientific discussions, and work with Sales and Service to resolve application challenges.

Tenders and collaboration

• Own NUPCO and major institutional tender responses from requirements review and strategy through submission and follow-up.
• Coordinate Tendering, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Legal teams to prepare accurate, compliant submissions.
• Partner with Marketing on campaigns, workshops, scientific events, and product launches; coordinate clarifications and awarded-project handovers.

Continuous improvement

• Apply Danaher Business System tools, standard work, Daily Management, and KPI tracking to improve processes and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Histopathology, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• Strong hands-on histopathology background in tissue processing, staining, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and laboratory workflows.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in applications, product management, or commercial roles in diagnostics or life sciences.
• Proven application or technical team leadership, and experience supporting launches, market development, and expansion projects.
• Knowledge of the Saudi healthcare market, MOH and institutional customers, and NUPCO tender processes.

Capabilities and languages

• Build credibility with pathologists and laboratory leaders and communicate technical and customer value clearly.
• Strong communication, presentation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills; able to deliver in a matrix organisation.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
