Procurement Supervisor

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise procurement activities for construction materials, heavy equipment, subcontractors, and operational requirements related to infrastructure project execution.
• Review purchase requests from site teams and verify quantities, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to prioritize procurement activities based on project schedules.
• Source approved suppliers and subcontractors and obtain competitive quotations.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluation of supplier quotations and submit recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and approval procedures.
• Follow up material and equipment deliveries to ensure timely supply to the project site.
• Coordinate with warehouse and QA/QC teams to inspect and approve delivered materials.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support cost control initiatives and procurement budget management.
• Prepare periodic procurement and delivery status reports.
• Maintain and update supplier database and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and procurement procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, roads, utilities, pipelines, concrete works, and heavy equipment.
• Experience dealing with local suppliers and subcontractors within Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage project priorities.
• Good English communication skills are preferred.
