Job Purpose
To supervise the day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, cost-effective purchasing, supplier coordination, and uninterrupted availability of goods required for business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily procurement activities and purchasing processes.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements.
- Obtain quotations and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries.
- Resolve supplier issues related to delays, quality, or shortages.
- Maintain procurement records and supplier database.
- Monitor inventory levels in coordination with the warehouse team.
- Support vendor evaluation and supplier performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing procurement reports and cost analysis.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
