About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify secondhand bicycle listings through online marketplaces and other channels.
- Respond promptly to bike leads and listings shared by the team.
- Communicate with sellers and negotiate competitive purchase prices.
- Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate bicycle condition, authenticity, and market value.
- Assess repair requirements and resale potential before purchase decisions.
- Drive the company van to seller locations for bike collection and transportation.
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of purchased bicycles.
- Finalize purchase agreements and complete required sales documentation.
- Track procured bikes and maintain records for commission calculations and sales follow-up.
- Monitor secondhand bicycle market trends and pricing to support informed buying decisions.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, viewing schedules, negotiation details, and purchase history.
- Coordinate efficiently with internal teams regarding acquisitions and inventory updates.
Qualifications
- Valid manual driving license with confidence in driving a company van.
- Proven experience in negotiation, purchasing, sales, or deal closure roles.
- Strong knowledge of bicycles, including inspection and valuation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple viewings efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions.
- Flexible to travel locally for inspections and bike collections.
- Basic administrative and record-keeping skills.
