Role Objective
We are looking for a Procurement Officer with specific experience in FM Services and general facility operations.
The successful candidate will manage the sourcing and contract lifecycle for non-technical services (cleaning, security, waste management) and operational consumables, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Contract Sourcing: Manage the tendering process for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) related to Soft Services, including cleaning, security, pest control, landscaping, and waste management.
- Vendor Selection: Evaluate and onboard service providers based on reliability, quality of service, and compliance with local regulations.
- Operational Purchasing: Procure facility consumables, such as janitorial supplies, office stationery, uniforms, and pantry items.
- SLA Management: Draft and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs to ensure subcontractors meet quality standards.
- Cost Optimization: Conduct market research and price benchmarking to achieve cost savings on recurring service contracts.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all vendors possess required certifications and maintain accurate digital procurement records in our ERP.
& Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years in a procurement role, specifically within Facility Management or Hospitality sectors.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of the market and vendor landscape in the UAE.
- Contractual Skills: Strong ability to negotiate service-based contracts rather than just unit-price material orders.
- Software: Proficiency in ERP systems like Odoo, SAP, or Oracle.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Communication: Fluent in English & preferably Hindi with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
