The role leads non-stock procurement across three recycling sites and reports to the Director of Commercial.

What you will do
- Lead procurement strategy across multiple spend categories.
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts and commercial negotiations.
- Deliver cost savings and continuous improvement.
- Manage supply-chain risk and continuity of supply.
- Oversee import and export activities and monitor supplier performance through KPIs.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
- Lead and develop a small procurement team.
Candidate requirements
- Procurement management experience within a medium or large business.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with experience delivering measurable savings and process improvements.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing, stock management and supply-chain risk.
- Experience working with operational and senior stakeholders.
- CIPS Level 6 qualification is essential.
- A commercially minded procurement professional with experience in manufacturing, engineering, recycling or a similar environment.
