- Lead the procurement process for projects/packages from identifying needs to supplier selection and contract management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that maximize value while ensuring compliance
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Analyze procurement trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to align procurement strategies with project goals
- Monitor supplier performance and manage risks to ensure contractual compliance
- Manage, coach, and mentor junior staff
- Review bid returns and collate Combined Award Recommendation (CAR)
- Ensure compliance of all procurement activities with client procurement policies and procedures

Role Summary
- JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a skilled Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team.
- This pivotal role involves overseeing the procurement strategy for our commercial projects, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with our objectives and regulatory requirements.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts to achieve favorable terms while ensuring quality and cost effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement process for procurement projects / packages, from identifying needs to supplier selection and contract management.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that maximize value while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure quality outcomes.
- Analyze procurement trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to align procurement strategies with project goals and operational needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage risks to ensure contractual compliance.
- Manages, coaches and mentors junior staff to successfully contribute to the department deliverables.
- Executes and administrates complex contract agreements and manages communication with vendors.
- Reviews the procurement plan based on rising priorities and business needs.
- Reviews bid returns and collates Combined Award Recommendation (CAR).
- Develops vendors lists, vendors prequalification, requests for proposals and requests for quotation.
