Procurement Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team across business units.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance for risks and improvement opportunities.
• Forecast procurement needs with internal stakeholders and support timely delivery of goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
• Improve procurement processes, efficiency, and value creation.
• Manage supplier relationships to support quality and reliable supply.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of procurement experience, including 3 years in a managerial role leading teams.
• Construction or real estate development procurement experience, including construction materials and subcontractor services.
• Hands-on strategic sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and procurement process improvement experience.
• Experience with Odoo ERP or a similar procurement system; knowledge of relevant procurement legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Business fluency in Arabic and English.
• Ability to partner across finance, legal, operations, and project/construction teams and present strategies to senior leadership.

Preferred qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Experience managing logistics contracts within procurement.
• Experience monitoring supplier performance and leading supplier relationship management initiatives.
• Experience managing external supplier, subcontractor, and logistics/service provider relationships.
• Experience presenting procurement savings and risk updates to board-level stakeholders.
