Leads purchasing operations and provides oversight of warehouse performance for a hospitality supply business in Dubai.
Reports to the General Manager, manages the procurement team, and oversees warehouse operations through the Warehouse Supervisor.
What you’ll be leading
- Lead end-to-end procurement from requirements and quotations through purchase orders and delivery.
- Manage supplier negotiations, performance, and alternative supply planning.
- Oversee inventory replenishment, stock availability, and purchasing risk management.
- Oversee warehouse receiving, storage, stock control, picking, and dispatch performance.
- Maintain ERP accuracy, stock-count routines, variance investigations, and inventory controls.
- Identify cost optimization, landed-cost analysis, and value-engineering opportunities.
- Coordinate with Commercial, Warehouse, Finance, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Report on savings, supply risks, stock ageing, availability, and warehouse performance.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, including people-management responsibility.
- Proven experience with inventory planning, warehouse operations, and stock controls.
- Hospitality supplies, trading, distribution, OS&E, textiles, or a related sector background is preferred.
- Strong supplier negotiation and commercial-analysis capability.
- Experience using ERP systems, along with strong Excel skills.
- Confident leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CIPS is an advantage.
