Procurement Executive responsible for purchasing and supplier coordination for a wooden pallet factory in Dubai, UAE.
The role involves sourcing factory materials, managing purchase orders and deliveries, and monitoring stock.
Responsibilities
- Purchase timber, wooden materials, nails, tools, and factory consumables.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers; request and compare quotations.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Accounts, and Management.
- Monitor stock levels and material requirements; maintain supplier and procurement records.
- Follow up on delayed or incorrect deliveries.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and reliable suppliers.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
- Manufacturing or wooden products industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of timber, pallets, or wood materials is an advantage.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- UAE experience is preferred.
Compensation
- AED 4,000 per month plus accommodation.
Work location
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
