The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing food, beverage, and operational supplies required for catering operations.
The role ensures timely procurement of quality products at competitive prices while maintaining cost control, supplier relationships, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure food, beverage, kitchen equipment, and catering supplies as per operational requirements.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with catering operations, kitchen teams, and vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service standards.
- Ensure all purchased products meet company quality standards, food safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Track deliveries and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or damaged goods.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and purchasing reports.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support budgeting activities and monitor procurement expenses against approved budgets.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
