Role overview

Procurement responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain suitable prices and quality.
• Purchase raw materials, perfume ingredients, bottles, caps, boxes, packaging materials, and other required items.
• Prepare and process purchase orders.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, accounts, and sales to ensure materials are available on time.
• Monitor stock and arrange purchases to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
• Follow up with suppliers on orders, deliveries, payments, and pending materials.
• Compare quotations, maintain purchasing records, and find new suppliers.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications.
• Track delivery schedules and resolve purchasing or supply issues.
• Update procurement records in the company system and report on purchases, costs, and supplier performance.

Requirements

• Previous procurement or purchasing experience is required.
• Manufacturing company experience is preferred; perfume, cosmetics, or packaging industry experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of raw materials, packaging materials, and supplier sourcing.
• Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to compare quotations and control purchasing costs.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchasing documentation.
• ERP systems experience, preferably Odoo, is advantageous.
• Ability to coordinate across departments and work under pressure; detail-oriented, proactive, and responsible.

Pay

• Pay is AED 3,000 to AED 5,000 per month.

Work location

• Work location is in person.
