Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Engineer based in Dubai.
- The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for sourcing materials and services, evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, preparing requests for quotation (RFQs), and ensuring cost-effective purchasing aligned with project requirements.
- The individual will collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain efficient procurement operations while adhering to project deadlines and quality standards.
- Procurement Engineer 10+ years of experience in procurement & purchasing within major contracting/construction companies in the UAE/GCC
- Strong experience in high-rise towers, residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
- Excellent knowledge of UAE/ Dubai suppliers, subcontractors, construction materials, and market pricing
- Proven expertise in procurement strategy, tendering, commercial negotiations, supply chain management, and cost optimization
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- CIPS/PMP certifications are an advantage
- 🔹 Main Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement and purchasing activities for the projects
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project and company objectives
- Manage supplier/subcontractor sourcing, negotiations, and commercial agreements
- Ensure timely procurement in line with project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with engineering, commercial, finance, and construction.
- Establish strong supplier relationships and optimize procurement performance
