Role overview

Procurement scope and duties

• Procure piling systems, steel structures, precast and in-situ concrete, dredging works, marine plant, fender systems, bollards, quay accessories, geotextiles, rock armour, revetments, temporary works materials, and specialist subcontracts.
• Prepare RFQs with scope, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and method constraints; coordinate design intent, constructability, temporary works, and marine methodology with engineering.
• Float enquiries to approved suppliers and specialist subcontractors; conduct techno-commercial evaluations, prepare comparison sheets, and resolve technical and commercial clarifications.
• Support negotiations on pricing, delivery schedules, logistics, and marine constraints; prepare recommendations and award documentation.
• Issue LOIs, POs, and subcontract agreements within approval limits; maintain procurement logs, long-lead trackers, delivery schedules, and supplier records.
• Comply with BESIX procurement procedures and ethical standards.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of construction procurement experience in the Middle East, focused on civil marine projects, is required.
• Experience conducting supplier audits for quality and safety compliance is required.
• Prior KSA experience is highly preferred.
