Responsibilities
- Evaluate technical specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to determine procurement needs.
- Source reliable suppliers and vendors locally and internationally.
- Request and analyze quotations, proposals, and bids from suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Monitor supplier performance for quality, on-time delivery, and contract compliance.
- Coordinate deliveries and resolve supply issues with project managers, engineers, and quality control teams.
- Conduct cost analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Maintain supplier databases and documentation for audits and reporting.
- Track and manage inventory levels related to procurement orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum of 6–7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in civil and MEP construction.
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Compensation
- The advertised pay range is AED 2,087.91 to AED 13,500.05 per month.
