Civil Procurement Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Source reliable local and international suppliers and vendors.
• Request and analyze quotations, proposals, and bids; negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery timeliness, and contract compliance.
• Coordinate deliveries and resolve supply issues with project managers, engineers, and quality-control teams.
• Conduct cost analyses, identify savings, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, and maintain supplier documentation.
• Track and manage inventory associated with procurement orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• At least 6–7 years of procurement or supply-chain experience; civil and MEP construction experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure while managing priorities.

Pay

• AED 2,013.74–AED 10,496.15 per month.
