Leads procurement strategy and execution across the U.S. portfolio for a company developing and operating high-density AI data centers.

Procurement leadership and categories
- Define procurement strategy, governance, policies, approval thresholds, competitive bidding rules, contract controls, and compliance requirements.
- Lead metrics for savings, lead times, budget adherence, contract coverage, supplier performance, and risk.
- Own categories spanning power generation, UPS, electrical infrastructure, cooling, white-space equipment, civil and structural works, construction services, and professional services.
Project procurement and sourcing
- Engage during design to contribute to specifications, supplyability analysis, and cost, schedule, and performance trade-offs.
- Lead sourcing, negotiations, and contracting with EPCs, general contractors, and manufacturers through delivery and L1–L5 commissioning.
- Negotiate clauses covering liquidated damages, warranties, spare parts, indexation, title ownership, and risk transfer.
- Develop market intelligence, supplier panels, should-cost models, total cost analyses, and master agreements; reduce single-source risk through dual sourcing.
Supplier, team, and cross-functional work
- Establish supplier qualification, audit, scorecard, and corrective-action processes and monitor cost, quality, delivery, and commitment performance.
- Work with customs compliance teams on international logistics, Chinese-origin equipment, tariffs, anti-dumping measures, traceability, and rules of origin.
- Build and develop a procurement team; collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Finance, and Operations.
- Support procurement digitalization using Odoo or equivalent and present strategy, risks, savings, and progress to the Executive Committee.
Requirements
- 15+ years of procurement experience with significant management responsibility.
- Direct data center experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, or project procurement is required.
- Strong experience in data center construction, capital equipment, critical infrastructure, or heavy industrial construction.
- Demonstrated expertise in power generation, UPS, critical power, electrical infrastructure, mechanical systems, and cooling.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar contracts and complex commercial negotiations.
- French speaking ability is required.
