Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented **purchasing assistant** to support our procurement operations for luxury villa and high‑end interior fit‑out projects.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of the UAE market, strong coordination skills, and the ability to assist in sourcing materials efficiently while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing construction and interior fit‑out materials, finishes, FF&E, MEP items, and subcontractor services.
- Request quotations, prepare basic comparison sheets, and support price and terms negotiations.
- Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain and update supplier and vendor databases within the UAE.
- Follow up with suppliers on orders, delivery schedules, and documentation.
- Support the procurement team in identifying cost‑effective options and monitoring market trends.
- Prepare purchase orders, maintain records, and ensure proper documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum **1–2 years of UAE experience** in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a contracting or interior fit‑out company.
- Basic understanding of UAE suppliers, materials, and procurement processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow‑up skills.
- Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- **UAE Driving License** is an advantage (or mandatory if you prefer).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Pay: Up to AED3,500.00 per month
