Job Description
We are looking for a skilled **Process & Production Engineer** with experience in oil & gas operations, refining processes, and plant optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize plant operations across upstream and downstream processes
- Operate and manage **DCS systems** for process control and performance tracking
- Handle gas treatment units including **CO₂ and H₂S removal systems**
- Support refining and upgrading of **pyrolysis oil from waste materials**
- Perform process simulations using tools like **Aspen HYSYS** and **Aspen Plus**
- Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct regular inspections
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to improve plant efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Process Engineering
- Proven experience in oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical industries
- Knowledge of gas treatment processes (CO₂ & H₂S removal)
- Hands-on experience with DCS operations
- Experience in process simulation tools (Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Experience in **waste-to-energy technologies** or pyrolysis processes
- Exposure to sustainability and recycling projects
- Laboratory experience in oil upgrading and testing
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
