Role Overview

Accountabilities

• Provide technical support for fault-finding and process development in scrap pre-treatment, melting, metal treatment, and casting.
• Maintain KPI and statistical reporting for the area of responsibility.
• Apply continuous improvement problem-solving techniques and participate in safety, improvement, and energy GEMBAs.
• Use the site PI System and data analysis to establish process and operating standards.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality standards and continuously improve process stability.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering or metallurgy degree and 5+ years of industrial experience are expected.
• Experience in a similar industry or process is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality processes is required; ISO 9001 knowledge is desirable.
• Experience with molten metal treatment operations is desirable.
• Applicants should understand safety practices, communicate effectively, and organize their own work.
• Engineering graduates may also be considered for a development role.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft skills and experience with SAP and Power BI are required.
• Experience with statistical data, the PI System, and continuous improvement supports the role.
