Provide private Mathematics tutoring to a Year 11 student following the British Curriculum.
Subject: Mathematics; level: Year 11 / GCSE; location: Dubai, UAE.
Mode and schedule
- Tutoring is face-to-face and in the student's home; the tutor must travel to the home in Dubai.
- Schedule is flexible and to be agreed with the family.
Teaching responsibilities
- Deliver structured, engaging, curriculum-focused Mathematics lessons.
- Support homework, assignments, and exam preparation, including GCSE Mathematics examinations.
- Identify learning gaps, develop targeted strategies, and adapt teaching to individual needs.
- Monitor academic progress, provide constructive feedback, and develop confidence, understanding, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and disciplined learning environment.
Candidate requirements
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics within the British Curriculum and strong knowledge of GCSE Mathematics.
- Previous experience as a private tutor or Mathematics teacher.
- Excellent communication and student engagement skills; patient, reliable, professional, and well-organised.
- Must be able to travel to the student's home in Dubai for in-person sessions.
Pay and job type
- Pay starts at AED 120 per hour.
