About Gain

Gain provides a global private-markets platform combining investment-grade intelligence, AI-powered workflows, and proprietary data for deal teams.

The company operates globally and has an office in Bangalore.

What You Will Do

  • Develop research content for the Gain platform to support global coverage, initially focused on the US.
  • Research and analyse businesses using business and financial information.
  • Provide valuable company insights to Gain customers.
  • Perform in-depth checks of material asset events, including annual reports, M&A, restructuring, and ownership changes.
  • Support research and strategy projects.
  • Work closely with private equity intelligence associates in India and globally.

What You Need

  • Hold a master's degree or MBA with excellent results in finance, economics, business, or a quantitative field.
  • Have 6 months to 1.5 years of financial research experience in India, including relevant shared-services, consulting, or Big Four backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate strong interest in private equity, investment banking, and investment research.
  • Have excellent communication skills and a bias to action.
