Role overview

Work arrangement

• The position is described as full-time and hybrid. AVEVA generally expects most hybrid roles to be on-site at a local office 50% of working hours; the arrangement for this position will be confirmed during hiring.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, customer workshops, implementation planning and technical design for PI Data Infrastructure and CONNECT Digital Twin programmes.
• Gather requirements, manage stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor and escalation point.
• Set architecture standards, templates, best practices and rollout approaches for enterprise and multi-site deployments.
• Collaborate with product, services, sales, pre-sales and delivery teams; identify use cases and provide product feedback.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, developers, UX specialists and industry experts.

Essential requirements

• 15+ years in solution architecture, consulting, services delivery or industrial software implementation.
• Deep PI Data Infrastructure experience, including PI Server installation and configuration, connectivity, protocols, alerting, aggregation, Asset Framework, PI Vision and PI DataLink.
• Strong experience in industrial or asset-intensive sectors such as energy, mining, data centres, utilities, chemicals or manufacturing.
• Lead customer workshops, translate requirements into system designs, and communicate with IT, OT, plant leadership and business stakeholders.
• Experience leading or supporting regional or global industrial data programmes across multiple sites.

Desired skills

• AVEVA CONNECT, data sharing, analytics, visualisation, digital twin, DataOps and AI/ML-enabled use cases are desired.
• Knowledge of SCADA, PI Interfaces and Connectors, OPC DA/UA, Modbus, DCS and industrial automation connectivity is desired.
• AF SDK/.NET, PI administration, archive management, calculations, troubleshooting, backups and operational dashboards are desired.
• Mapping KPIs and use cases to PI DI and CONNECT outcomes, pre-sales, estimation, proposals, risk management and partner capability-building are desired.
