Role summary

Customer and technical work

• Position AI capabilities with technical, outcome-driven and IT decision-maker personas.
• Connect solution sales specialists, partner business development managers and platform architects to deliver customer AI outcomes.
• Demonstrate platforms for generative AI, MLOps and data pipeline or preparation activities.
• Architect end-to-end AI systems integrating data pipelines, machine learning models and deployment platforms.
• Lead complex engagements across hybrid platforms, modern workspace, security and services.

Offerings, sales and team development

• Support creation, launch, marketing and ongoing development of AI offerings.
• Track emerging AI technologies and provide thought leadership on innovation.
• Support sales in entering high-value new accounts and qualify customer opportunities with salespeople and business development managers.
• Design solutions, maintain CRM information for sales forecasting and pipeline management, and produce proposals and technical or commercial documentation.
• Support development of the architect and wider sales teams, including less experienced colleagues.
• Evangelise CDW's capabilities, productised services, consulting and full-stack expertise to customers.

Technical expertise

• Subject matter expertise includes predictive AI, machine learning, generative AI, MLOps, data pipelines and DevOps.
• The role involves AI strategy, governance, platforms, data preparation and deployment platforms.
• The wider solution portfolio includes cloud, servers, storage, networking, hybrid platforms, modern workspace, security and services.

Documentation and customer outcomes

Requirements

• Bring subject matter expertise in predictive AI, machine learning, generative AI and related capabilities such as MLOps, data pipelines and DevOps.
• Engage effectively with customer business, data science and IT operations teams and technical, outcome-driven and IT decision-maker personas.
• Maintain expert-level AI knowledge through research, hands-on learning, training and engagement with partner technical leads.
• Support development of the architect and wider sales teams, including helping less experienced colleagues develop.
