Responsibilities

• Lead complex cybersecurity software design and development.
• Oversee and mentor developers while providing technical guidance.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop high-quality code and conduct code reviews.
• Stay current with cybersecurity technologies and resolve defects.
• Participate in scalable, secure architecture design and create technical documentation.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of software development experience focused on cybersecurity solutions.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring software development teams.
• Expertise in Java and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, cloud platforms, containerization, build tools, CI/CD, and Git.
• Knowledge of AI tools and agent integration, RESTful APIs, JSON, and testing frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• Willingness to upskill in Laravel/PHP, infrastructure as code, SaaS, and queue-based architecture.

Technical skills

• Required technologies include Java, microservices architecture, Maven or Gradle, Git, CI/CD, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
• Required cloud and containerization experience may include AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and Docker or Kubernetes.
• Testing experience may include JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
