Role overview

Platform responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable frontend platforms, backend services, and shared infrastructure.
• Develop reusable UI frameworks, design systems, and component libraries.
• Design and maintain platform APIs and shared services used across multiple products.
• Establish platform practices for modularity, observability, reliability, and security.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, internal developer platforms, and automation tooling.
• Improve developer experience and ensure high availability, performance, and scalability across distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers and guide teams in adopting platform capabilities.

Core qualifications

• The role requires 12–15 or more years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack and platform engineering expertise.
• Candidates should have strong experience building shared platforms, frameworks, or internal tooling.
• Required technical experience includes React or Angular, modern JavaScript or TypeScript, and backend development with Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Candidates should understand distributed systems, microservices, platform architectures, API design, service contracts, and versioning strategies.
• Strong experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration at scale is required.

AI and agentic systems

• The role requires experience designing and building AI agent workflows and orchestration systems.
• Relevant experience includes LLM applications, prompt design, tool-augmented agents, and integrations with APIs, services, and enterprise workflows.
• The role references agent frameworks such as LangChain and Semantic Kernel, multi-agent systems, task planning, workflow automation, evaluation, guardrails, and reliability patterns.
• Experience with observability tools is a plus, as is exposure to RAG pipelines, vector databases, and context management.
