The opportunity

Design and product strategy

• Define portfolio-wide design vision, experience principles, and quality standards; shape product strategy and roadmaps with Product, Engineering, and Science.
• Translate business and government requirements into use cases and customer experiences; turn AI capabilities into shipped products.
• Lead discovery, research, journey mapping, interaction design, prototyping, usability tests, production, and project launches.
• Design for AI uncertainty, failures, latency, refusals, incomplete or fabricated outputs, and non-deterministic behavior.
• Create intuitive experiences for agents, copilots, multi-agent systems, dashboards, conversational interfaces, and AI workflows.
• Make AI capabilities and limitations legible; align prompts, system design, tone, output structure, content standards, and guardrails with partner teams.
• Define evaluation criteria, rubrics, test sets, and human review loops; establish and instrument adoption, task success, time-to-value, correction, abandonment, and trust metrics.
• Govern scalable design systems for web, mobile, conversational, voice, and workflow experiences; maintain specifications and quality standards.
• Design with AI disclosure, privacy, data residency, auditability, and human control in mind.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead designers; present work to internal teams, leadership, government stakeholders, enterprise customers, and partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience, including experience managing teams for major design initiatives.
• Online portfolio showing end-to-end product ownership, interaction design, visual craft, process, decisions, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience with UI design, information architecture, interaction design, lifecycle design, and complex enterprise, SaaS, workflow, operational, or data-rich products.
• Strong expertise in user research, prototyping, usability testing, and design systems; expert proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
• Experience designing AI-powered products such as agents, copilots, conversational UIs, or intelligent workflows.
• Practical understanding of human-AI interaction, explainability, trust, confidence, user control, and human-in-the-loop practices.
• Familiarity with prompts, context, RAG, citations, memory, and AI evaluations; experience using AI-assisted tools in day-to-day work.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills; ability to work through ambiguity and change.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with AI governance, workflow builders, decision-intelligence products, or enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience designing bilingual Arabic and English products; Arabic language ability is a plus, not a requirement.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies or design-to-code workflows, and ability to prototype in code.
• Understanding of conversational and voice design fundamentals.
• Experience with senior executives, government stakeholders, enterprise customers, regulated industries, or building a design function.
