Tasks
- Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the global eTrading strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Drive innovation in electronic trading platforms, ensuring best-in-class execution and client experience.
• Platform Development & Oversight
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, low-latency trading systems.
- Ensure platform resilience, scalability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with trading desks, sales, technology and vendor teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders on eTrading initiatives.
- Operational Excellence:
- Monitor and optimize electronic trading flows across multi-dealer platforms, APIs, and single-dealer platforms.
- Implement robust risk controls and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, product managers, and support specialists.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Job Knowledge & Experience
- 10+ years in electronic trading, with deep knowledge of Global Markets (FX is a must).
- Proven track record in leading and implementing large-scale eTrading platform initiatives.
- Strong understanding of connectivity protocols, API and low-latency trading systems.
- Familiarity with algorithmic trading strategies and pricing engines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied with excellent communication
Qualifications And Skills
- The candidate should possess either a postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems / Engineering / Business Administration.
- The candidate should carry a minimum relevant work experience in a Bank or I.T. Company.
- Strong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of the financial markets, trading and banking solutions
- Candidate must be technically astute and have had relevant exposure and experience with bank systems and processes
- Strong numerical skills coupled with the ability to deliver well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Candidate must display strong verbal and written communication skills.
