Principal Financial Analyst ( Riyadh )

Role summary

Location and work arrangement

Program finance and controls

• Lead weekly and monthly program financial reports and customer deliverables; own monthly sales, profit, and cash forecasts.
• Lead quarterly EAC development, including cost, schedule, risk, and opportunity analysis; perform budget-baseline variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain WBS; support cost CDRLs, including IPMRs and CFSRs.
• Support proposal cost development and basis-of-estimate preparation for new business.

Indirect-rate analysis

• Analyze overhead, G&A, and fringe rates against budgeted and forecast pools and bases; support forward pricing rate estimates and submissions.
• Assess indirect-rate variance impacts on program costs and EACs; reconcile actual indirect charges with accounting and estimating.
• Identify indirect-cost trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate them to leadership.

Leadership and collaboration

• Coach and review junior finance professionals and provide guidance on deliverables, analytical approach, and development.
• Partner with program managers, contracts, engineering, and operations; influence finance-area policies and practices.
• Present analysis to senior program and finance leaders and support ad hoc investigations, special projects, and leadership requests.

Required qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or related advanced degree with at least 3 years.
• Experience in program financial analysis, EAC development, or cost controls in project- or contract-based work; experience with indirect rates, cost pools, or forward pricing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; SAP or equivalent ERP/financial-system experience.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to senior leadership.

Preferred qualifications

• EVM support on government or defense contracts; knowledge of government contracting financial requirements.
• Project or process management with limited oversight; coaching or mentoring junior finance staff.
• Continuous-improvement track record and experience with OneStream, SAP Business Warehouse, or similar planning tools.
• Aerospace, defense, or government-contracting finance background.
