Surge Group is growing its technology recruitment team and seeks a Principal Consultant to own a desk and help build the business.
The desk covers crypto, AI, and technology clients, including exchanges, blockchain protocols, and AI labs.
Responsibilities
- Shape desk strategy, set targets, and drive growth with the Director and Head of Crypto.
- Run a 360 recruitment cycle from business development through placement, or focus on candidate-side work while supporting client delivery.
- Build and manage a client portfolio across crypto, AI, and technology, and grow existing accounts.
- Lead candidate and contractor mapping across the US, MENA, and Europe.
- Advise clients on international hiring, including contractor and employer-of-record options.
- Drive business development, negotiations, account growth, and expansion into new markets; partner with C-suite stakeholders.
Requirements
- More than three years of recruitment experience in crypto, AI, or technology.
- Experience working on a 360 or 180 recruitment desk.
- Strong track record of billings and growing client relationships with measurable results.
- Ability to win and develop accounts from a standing start or fill roles from day one.
