Role Overview
Are you passionate about building the next generation of AI-powered applications and leading complex customer transformations?
As a Cloud & AI Apps Solution Engineer, you will bring deep technical expertise in agentic AI, AI application architecture, and cloud-native development while helping customers turn ambition into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions.
This is a senior individual contributor technical sales role with primary depth in AI & Apps and a broad leadership mandate across the Microsoft platform.
You will lead strategic technical engagements, orchestrate expertise across Business Applications, Security, Cloud & AI Platform, Data, engineering, partners, and the broader field, and bring the best of Microsoft together around customers' most important transformation priorities.
You will also help scale the business beyond your own engagements by creating repeatable technical motions and reusable assets, sharing field insights, coaching peers, and influencing technical strategy.

Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR 10+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- 10+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing agentic AI solutions using Microsoft AI technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, data, security, governance, and business applications.
- Experience with modern development tools and languages such as GitHub, VS Code, Python, Node.js, Java, or C#.Ability to translate customer insights and emerging technology trends into scalable business and technical outcomes.
- Solution Engineering IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $165,000 - CAD $313,300 per year.
