Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop solution options and technical approaches for complex business problems.
• Lead infrastructure refreshes, data center migrations, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Plan SAP infrastructure and application projects and deliver technical milestones.
• Evaluate and recommend SAP technologies and related products.
• Troubleshoot major system issues, including performance and stability problems.
• Balance architecture and project work (about 80%) with operational support (about 20%).
• Manage multiple projects; participate occasionally in after-hours maintenance, upgrades, production support, and on-call rotations.

Skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of SAP Basis administration and architecture experience in complex enterprise environments.
• SAP ERP, APO, Fiori, GRC, Portal, BW, PO, SSO Server, and Web Dispatcher experience.
• Linux and Windows; Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA, and MaxDB.
• SAP version and support package upgrades; security and authentication technologies including SSO, SNC, SAML, MFA, and load balancing.
• Experience managing SAP Cloud Connector, CPI, and IBP.
• Preferred: SAP certification, cloud integration or hybrid landscape experience, operations automation tools, offshore team leadership, or ITIL/change management knowledge.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills.
