The specialist career stream describes an experienced individual contributor who may mentor colleagues and manage projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, inspect, mine, transform, and model data.
- Conduct statistical analysis for predictive forecasting or classification.
- Manage end-to-end data processing using customized report-building functions.
- Maintain analytical systems, verify data accuracy, and act as a business liaison.
- Develop solutions to complex problems and improve processes, systems, or products.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to colleagues; may delegate and review work.
Required knowledge and experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least five years of relevant experience.
- Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education and experience.
- May require broad knowledge of project management.
Salary range
- Salary range is $102,400–$128,000; the description does not state a pay cadence.
