Role Description
The Primary Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai.
The Primary Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
Daily responsibilities include creating age-appropriate learning materials, managing classroom routines, supporting students’ academic and social development, and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.
The teacher will communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, collaborate with colleagues on curricular and extracurricular activities, and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
The role also involves monitoring student performance, providing feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Curriculum planning and lesson design capabilities, including experience with primary-level teaching methodologies and assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle lesson preparation, grading, reporting, and participation in school activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a teaching qualification or license suitable for primary education is preferred.
- Previous experience teaching at the primary level; experience in international or Gulf-region schools is an advantage.
- Commitment to student well-being, safeguarding, and continuous professional development.
- Ability to adapt to a multicultural school environment and follow the policies and standards set by the school and local authorities.
