Manage ocean import pricing and support business requirements through competitive, commercially viable freight rates.
Responsibilities
- Manage and negotiate ocean import freight rates with shipping lines and agents.
- Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines and overseas partners.
- Source competitive rates and ensure pricing is commercially viable.
- Monitor market trends, freight fluctuations and carrier pricing.
- Prepare and manage import quotations and pricing proposals.
- Coordinate with internal sales and operations teams.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight, import processes and international logistics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and commercial skills.
