Preventive Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Education & Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Previous experience in Preventive Maintenance or a related field preferred.

Proficiency in math, reading, writing, and communication.

Skills Needed

Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Understanding and the ability to apply safe work practices, required.

Basic understanding of machine operation and knowledge of lathes and mills for general repair work preferred.

General knowledge of AC/DC.

Basic computer skills required.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Must be able to access all areas of operation, including second floors.

Standing or walking most of the shift.

Required to lift 50 lbs.

Bending, stooping, climbing, and working on and around all sizes and types of equipment.

Potential exposure to drawing oils and powders, hydrogen, nitrogen, acids, and industrial alcohol.
